Take my money!  When customers have a certain level of familiarity with a product or service, a Hotel GM can increase revenue by asking this direct pricing technique:  ask a customer if they would purchase a product or service at a specific price.  Then, change the price and ask respondents again if they would purchase the product or service.  Ask enough people and change the price increase by different amounts ($5, $10, $15, $20) or ($0.25, $0.50, $0.75, $1.00) and then use the results to determine demand at certain expected price points.  (Garbor-Granger technique).
